ENWMFC is privileged to be positioned next to North Weald Airfield, the clubs facilities allows for members to enjoy our clubhouse, toilet and workshop just yards from our grass strip runway. These facilities have come about with the full cooperation, support and assistance from Epping Forest District Council who remains the owners of North Weald Airfield. ENWMFC offers flying seven days a week all year round, the club really does enjoy flying to its full from a cold winter day to the warm sunny evenings of summertime. New members are always welcomed!   • The site weight limit is 7 kilos (15 lbs) for BMFA “A” certified pilots and 20 kilos (44lbs) for BMFA “B” certified pilots.
  • Please note that all models over 7kg will require the pilot to possess a BMFA ‘B’ certificate.
Membership Form

Flying Turbines

Turbine propelled aircraft are subject to additional mandatory requirements;

  • All pilots must have a BMFA “B” type dedicated (fixed wing or rotary) certificate.
  • All pilots must of been a member of the club for a minimum of 1 year.
  • All pilots must be sanctioned by an approved committee member to fly turbine aircraft.
  • Pilots must successfully complete a flying test which will be determined by an approved committee member.
  • All usual club rules apply when flying turbine aircraft.

Above notes were included to avoid any misunderstandings appertaining to our probationary periods and pilots intending to fly turbine powered aircraft (fixed wing or rotary). If you have any issues or seek further clarification, please speak to a committee member forthwith and prior to signing and returning this membership application form.
